Intraoral Scanner

When we need a detailed outline of your mouth, we can use an intraoral scanner to take detailed images and put them together into a single three-dimensional image. The images are nearly instantaneous, and they can help us provide more accurate diagnosis, plan and create treatments such as dental crowns, and replace the less comfortable process of traditional dental impressions.

Dental Lasers

Dental lasers are highly precise tools that can be used for a variety of processes (including cutting hard and soft tissues and whitening the teeth). Due to their precision, healing is often accelerated when dental lasers are used instead of traditional processes and more healthy tissue can be preserved.

The result from most laser tools is greater accuracy, less discomfort, and sometimes, even faster healing. Lasers can be used for many procedures in dentistry, from reshaping the gums to treating periodontal disease, and even in prepping for fillings.

Laser Cavity Preparation

We use lasers to prepare a tooth for a filling. The laser tool is used to remove the decayed parts of a tooth precisely, leaving as much of the undamaged tissue remaining as possible. A benefit of using laser technology for cavity preparation is that the device is quiet and leads to less vibration, creating a more relaxed experience for patients.
